May 24, '08, in preparation for Memorial Day, Calhoun County HOG members volunteered to place US Flags at the grave sites of veterans interned at the Custer National Cemetery, in Augusta, Michigan. |
In the early crisp morning, 35 Members and their families road their Harley-Davidson® bikes and joined many other volunteers to pay their respect to these military men and women who served their country. These heros of our past are now at rest at this place of sanctity and peace. It was an honor to be among this fine group of Americans who stepped up to this task of respect and remembrance. RG |
